The Face Behind the Posts

Hi! I'm Amy Diller. I'm a life-long Michigander, wife to Jason, and mom to two adult daughters. I love the smell of a new box of crayons, the feel of a book in my hands, and experiencing God's Word through the eyes of kids. A graduate of the University of Michigan, I spent a total of 10 years teaching in preschool and elementary classrooms before serving for 10 years as the Co-Director of Children’s Ministry at our church.

In November 2021, I followed the Lord's lead and took a step of faith to pursue writing full time. My heart is to encourage and equip families with children of all ages to live out their faith at home as well as to walk through life's joys and challenges in our relationships with the Lord, ourselves, and others.

What is The Pioneer Path?

Pioneers are people who choose to leave the known and pursue the unknown. As we follow the Lord, we can choose to stick to paths of our choosing, the ones we feel are within our control to navigate but really can be full of danger. Or we can take steps of faith, listening to His voice, and seeking His best for us as we learn to trust our known God even when the path ahead is unknown. The Pioneer Path is a blog intended to encourage people with hope from the Bible.

The blog will include content for topics such as Christian living, mental health, and parenting kids of all ages.
